Benchmark Kitchen and Bath is a custom kitchen cabinetry and installation company located in Austin, Texas.
Founded by designers David Betz and Linsi Brownson, we specialize in creating unique, beautiful and highly functional cabinetry for high-end kitchen and bathroom design.
We are responsive, efficient and collaborative. Dare we say it – we are not your “typical” contractor, and our clients really appreciate that!
About David Betz, CEO
David is an avid car guy who has always had an eye for the fine details that set luxury design apart from all the rest.
He started his career as a finish carpenter and launched his general construction company specializing in custom kitchens in 2010.
After moving to Austin in 2016, David and Linsi relaunched Benchmark Construction as Benchmark Kitchen and Bath, and quickly established our reputation for building the very best cabinets.
About Linsi Brownson, COO & CFO
Linsi is a “creative” who also happens to be obsessively organized. On any given day, you might find her nose-deep in a spreadsheet or working on her latest art project (often both).
She started her career in interior design, a great combination of organization and art. She owned a successful branding agency and business consultancy for 10 years before becoming a full-time business and life coach for creative entrepreneurs. She joined Benchmark as an operating partner in 2020, and oversees the finance and operations departments.
